This fragrance is referenced in Ian Fleming’s James Bond novel, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. It’s no surprise that Fleming, who worked in Naval Intelligence during WWII on a number of would have been very familiar with Geo F Trumpers Curzon Street shop, given the nearby location of Naval Intelligence HQ at the time.
